1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Oraweave ("the Service"), operated by Orange Bobbin, LLC, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Oraweave is a memory capture and storytelling application that allows you to record memories through voice and text, collaborate with others, and generate AI-powered stories from your experiences.
3. Account Registration
To use the Service, you must create an account using Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activities that occur under it. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
4. Your Content
Ownership
You retain ownership of all content you create using the Service, including memories, photos, recordings, and stories. We do not claim ownership of your content.
License to Us
By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content as necessary to provide the Service. This includes sending your content to AI services for story generation.
Content Guidelines — Zero Tolerance Policy
Oraweave has a zero tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behavior. You agree not to use the Service to create, store, or share content that:
- Is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, or hateful
- Is sexually explicit, pornographic, or exploitative
- Promotes violence, self-harm, or discrimination against any individual or group
- Infringes on intellectual property rights of others
- Contains malware or other harmful code
- Violates the privacy of others without consent
- Is deceptive, fraudulent, or intended to mislead
- Is otherwise objectionable or inappropriate
Violation of these content guidelines will result in immediate removal of the offending content and may result in suspension or permanent termination of your account, at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to remove any content and terminate any account that violates these guidelines without prior notice.
5. Content Moderation and Reporting
Content Review
We may review content shared on the Service to ensure compliance with these Terms. We may use automated tools and manual review to filter and moderate content. We reserve the right to remove any content that we determine, in our sole discretion, violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable.
Reporting Objectionable Content
If you encounter content that you believe violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable, you can report it using the reporting mechanism within the app, or by contacting us at abuse@oraweave.app. We will review all reports and take appropriate action within 24 hours, which may include removing the reported content and suspending or terminating the account of the user who posted it.
Blocking Abusive Users
You may block other users who engage in abusive or objectionable behavior. Blocking a user will immediately remove their content from your view and prevent further interaction. Blocking also notifies us of the inappropriate behavior so we can review the reported user's account and content.
6. AI-Generated Content
The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate stories from your memories. AI-generated content may not be perfectly accurate. You are responsible for reviewing and editing generated stories before sharing them.
We use third-party AI providers — including Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI, and Google (Gemini) — for conversational prompts, story generation, and transcription. The specific provider used may vary by feature. Your use of AI features is also subject to the respective provider's terms of service.
7. Sharing and Collaboration
When you share events with others, they will be able to view your content and add their own memories. You are responsible for only sharing with people you trust. Shared content may be visible to all collaborators on that event.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
- Use automated means to access the Service without permission
- Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
9. Service Availability
We strive to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to circumstances beyond our control.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms — including the Content Guidelines and Zero Tolerance Policy — or for any other reason at our discretion. Users who post objectionable content or engage in abusive behavior may be permanently banned. Upon termination, you may lose access to your content, so we recommend exporting your data regularly.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.
13. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms and changing the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
