Information We Collect
Account Information
When you sign in using Apple or Google, we receive your email address, name, and profile photo (if available). This information is used to create and manage your account.
Content You Create
We store the content you create within the app, including:
- Events and their details (titles, dates, descriptions)
- Memory conversations (text you type or speak)
- Voice recordings and their transcriptions
- Photos you attach to memories
- Generated stories
On-Device Photo Analysis
The iOS app uses Apple's Vision framework to detect face positions in your photos. This is used solely to visually center and crop photos for display (e.g., card thumbnails). Face detection runs entirely on your device — no face data is collected, stored, transmitted to any server, or shared with any third party. No biometric identification or facial recognition is performed.
Usage Information
We may collect basic usage data to improve the Service, such as feature usage patterns and error reports. We do not track your location.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide and maintain the Service
- Generate AI-powered stories from your memories
- Enable sharing and collaboration features
- Authenticate your identity
- Communicate with you about the Service

Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
AI Providers
We use multiple AI providers to power different features of the Service, including Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI, and Google (Gemini). Your memory conversations, photos, and recordings may be sent to these providers for conversational prompts, story generation, and transcription. The specific provider used may vary by feature and may change over time. Each provider processes data according to their respective privacy policies. We do not use your data to train AI models.
Supabase
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database service. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
Authentication Providers
We use Apple Sign-In and Google Sign-In for authentication. These services share only the information you authorize.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in the following circumstances:
- With your consent: When you share events with other users
- Service providers: With third-party services as described above
- Legal requirements: When required by law or to protect rights
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and associated data at any time through the app settings. Some data may be retained in backups for a limited period after deletion.
